I traded a dinli t-rex50cc quad for a 1983 yamaha tri-moto 200 with a rebuilt motor. The back brakes and bearings were completely shot. After some thought i decieded i want to restore this trike. Heres some pics of what im working with right now. its in a million pieces because i tore it apart lastnight to do the bearings and ran into some amature welds a blind person could have done. Anyone have any tips, parts, experiences with these trikes????? Ill post mose as i go thanks for looking

It looks like it is mostly there so that's a big plus. I like the YTMs and have had my share of them, actually I am heling a member put a 200ern motor together next week. Is this your first trike?

Worst part is a good set of fenders... as no one makes them anymore. If you find a good old set wet sand them up and buff them shiny. Other than that they are just like any other trike. The ytm-200 is a very tough machine and will take a serious beating.

Yea its pretty much all there, the plastics are pretty mint, minor scratches, runs like a tank. I didnt know that a blaster motor will fit. This is my second trike. I grew up riding one but was a little young to try n rebuild it or anything, oldskool honda 110. I actually might pick up another honda 110 this weekend with no brakes
