Well rode the 250R today a lot. I fouled my first plug completely to stalling. So I picked up another, and threw her in gapped to .030, and rode. I notice there's an 1/8th throttle hesitation, and it screams in the mid range then kinda falls flat at the top. So I rode a while longer and she stalled again and the plug fouled completley again. I looked at both plugs, around the edges the plugs are pretty clean, but right in the center electrode it's all black with a bit of gas on each plugs I pulled. I noticed later on that the plug wire came out the boot, so I put it together, but I still have my hesitation(s). So I'm going to try a new plug wire and boot which I was told to do by someone, and then I'll se what I have. I run 32:1 mix also, and it wont go any leiner, I want to not have to rebuild it all the time. I'm also going to try and move the idle mixture around a bit.

maybe the jets got clogged, clean out the carb. I would check and clean the air filter too. Its probably something simple.

I am getting a new airfilter tomorrow, I never thought of that. I'll clean out the carb too. The thing was rebuilt so I just assumed that it would be clean already... pulled 180 PSI of compression today on a stone cold engine.
Lower the main jet, that's why your fouling plugs and seeing gas on the end of the plug.

take the comp test with a warmed up engine, and when kicking it over, floor it....

Do a compression test....
Also, if its fouling at low throttle its not the main jet. Main jets are for about 2/3 throttle or more, the pilot jet is what you want to lean up some.

Well I pulled the 155 main jet and put in a 150, WOW what a difference, now I'm going to go back to the stock size slow jet. I hope it will make a big difference. It hesitates, so I'm guessing it's way to rich, because it seems like the choke is on. I wish I would have put the slow jet in while it was all apart, but I couldn't find it and I didn't want to mess with the floats. Putting on my foam filter too.
