right now i have some 22" kings trail crap that has alot of small weather cracks in them and a set of 20" paddles for the sand. have been looking at holeshots and razors in a 20" size. the 5 riding areas around here have alot of rocks and loose sandy dirt no mud. i see 18" tires and very cheap prices but seems like i'd hit to many rocks on the sprocket/brake rotor. what is your favorite tire and size?

I think 20" tires are a good choice. The 18" tires are great for MX but any other terrain and the rocks will eat you up. I'm very happy with Holeshot HD's, they are twicew the weight!! but nearly indestructable and the trails here are very rocky.

20" worked great on my old R, had Kenda Klaws on it, worked real good.

I always stick with 20s on mine. Except my MXer which will be wearing 18s

kenda klaws are great tires.you can turn them around.i always thought the carlisle trail wolf was a kickass trial tire.get it in the 20x9xx10 for the rear.you can also get a 23 for the front.awesome performance and last hella long

20's look the best to me. My
personal opinion is that its hard
to beat the stock 85-86 water
cooled tires. Where did u get *Edited**Edited*
pipe?

20" only, but haven't had the bike too long. Ran 22" on my 350x, felt like it bogged me down in the sand

The 20" Oats radials that came on the 88-89 250Rs are hard to beat. The sidewalls are prone to puncture wounds on quads but they seem to hold up well on 3-wheelers. Decent sidebite but you're still able to break into slides easily enough.

You're best off to see what the local guys are running. Talk to someone who has some solid seat time and has probably tried everything and actually has a reason to run the tires he's running. Not because they were cheap, and not because a buddy gave him a helluva deal.

problem is guys run whatever they have around here , or whatever stands up to the rocks. I ran 22" on my 350X but kinda wanted something a bit smaller. my buddie has a warrior with some holeshots and they are killer but here they wear pretty quick. I think i might try some of the Kenda Klaws.

jlharrison3 don't know where the pipe came from it was on the trike when i got it.
somone set it up for Florence sand dunes and i scored it from an old man that tried taking it hunting and broke the rear taillight when he flipped it over.
