So after a batch of new parts, I finally get to ride a 350X after spending so many years on the 200X... All I can say is: DAMN!

First of all, I can't express how important the decompression cable is. Damn that thing cranks hard without it. I couldnt believe the difference it made when I fixed it.

I'm surprised at how much power it has. It will easily pull the front wheel in 1st through 5th and when I'm racing I find it difficult to keep the front tire on the ground the entire time in first and second. Extended swingarm has now been justified. 8)

I raced against a stock 2001 400EX and was dead even. I was really expecting to be able to outrun him. Should I have been faster with a stock 350EX? I know he's got nearly 50cc more, but he's also got another tire and a lot more frame.

So now I'm looking at the following parts:
Extended swing arm
Billet Bearing Carrier
Durablue extended axle
RAD Swingarm skid plate
Sidewinder chain and sprockets
SuperTrapp muffler (and header pipe?)
Honda fork boots (cheap ones look horrible)

Anyone suggest any other common replacement/upgrade parts while I'm at it?

I don't know what you have on your bike, but I raced an 01 400ex and I beat him, I run a cobra exhaust and a k&n Filter and the bike is bored .40 over, so with a little mods you should be able to take him.
