Got a free ride to the Upper Peninsula to see my buddy going to school at Michigan Tech. im in Houghton, MI.
WOW it is sweet up here. trees are changing, and it is awesome scenery.

well, theres this hillclimb up here. it isnt washed out, and is a pretty smooth straight shot up. but the angle of it, and it is MASSIVE. i tried 3 times today, and couldnt make it, about 20 feet from the top it gets way steeper. gave her hell, and ripped up in 3rd gear, downshift to second halfway up, but just couldnt make it. every try i got farther, got to see the rest of the hill. gonna try again tomorrow.
ill have more pics uploaded in a few days, but here they are!

Knarly hill dude. Long, steep, and badly whooped and rutted. Or so it appears. Is that the mighty Mackinaw bridge. I love going over that sucka..

well, took another run at the hill. was about 3 feet from the top, i went up the back way, slightly easier, but much more rocky. at the top, i can walk over to where i stopped on the last run. it isnt washed out too bad, its a bit rutted, but for as old as it is, its in great shape, someone must run it with equipment once in awhile to fix washout.

got some HP video, but the files are massive, and cant upload them, and oyu need sony's player to properly play them, one of the guys up there had a NICE videocam. sound and video quality are ASTOUNDING, you can clearly hear the 2 stroke braaapp echo off the trees. if i can find a way to share them, i will!
