Heres the deal

A friend of mine gave me a '85 200x project bike(ran but needed alot of tlc). Another friend of mine wanted it and gave me a '86 250sx for it(alot better shape). I found a '85 350x for sale locally. Had no cash so I told my friend who gave me the 250sx about it. He bought it for $500(needs front brake hooked up and a couple little things, has a high compression piston and some other motor work and is a strong runner). Now he wants a quad again and said if I want it its mine for $500.
Problem Im having, like so many others at this time is shortage of cash. Wife also doesnt want another toy in the shed. She doesnt underatand why I need different ones.
My buddy says he might want to trade straight up for my 250sx but hes not sure yet. So I might have to sell my 250sx out right to buy it. If anyones interested in my 250sx pm me and I can send pics.

So... If I read this right, you're lusting after a trike other than the one you have in the shed. You don't have the cash. Your wife doesn't want more trikes sitting around the yard anyway, so you're trying to sell one bike to buy another.

Ok, so maybe this is just me being crazy, but why not post an ad in the classifieds listing your SX for sale? What is the point of posting this story in this section? It will win you no sympathy from anyone on this board. Almost every single one of us has the same thing happen about six times a day.

I guess I'm just not seeing the point.

Also, why does your sig line mention an '85 350X and not the 250SX? Did this deal already go down? Is this all a moot point?

I am pretty sure the trade happened. I thought I read in another thread that he traded a 250sx for a 350x.
