hi everyone.
ive got a 200es as u know.
i want to put some rear suspension on the rear end as it is bouncy.
has anyone got plans or diagrams for a conversion or something.
or has anyone got ideas or tips for the modification

I looked into it and all you can do is look at a 1984trx200.You can use the rear swingarm but you will have to move the battery box for the shock and weld a plate on where the shock will hook up.You would need the trx200 swingarm and bolt,shock,maybe rearend housing because of mounting holes,probly the driveshaft tube and driveshaft it's longer,With all this the rearend will be farther back I think up to 3to6".

has the drive shaft the same splines on it do you know???????like where the output case is on the 200es will the trx hook straight up????

The 84 TRX200 and the 84 200 BigRed used the exact same motor. So Yes for both questions.

Yeah. I would definatly reccomend looking for a TRX200 parts bike (84) that has a good frame/swingarm. That would probably be the easiest/best way to start. GOOD LUCK. If you or anyone got this to work good I would be impressed and tempted to do it myself :)

im tempted bad............but short of dosh(i owe my dad 1000 for my bike as it is)
ive got the diffrent frames and swing arm off bike bandit and i reken it would not be that hard...........opposing my dad :D i just dont want to do irreversible damage to my es frame if it dident work out
