I want to use my 86 T3 swing arm for my 85. But the shock mount in the 86 is offset while the 85 is centered. I have to have that shock mount moved. I really wish there were another solution to do this without having to reweld a part of the swinger because I would like to have all the parts I use, able to go back to stock when the time comes. I don't know any other way to do it though. Does anybody here do some good tig welding for a decent price? Any other advice that i might be able to avoid cutting and welding it?

I don't tig but but I can defintly get my wire welder to make the re-located shock mount to stick.
Perhaps just make up another "bracket" + weld it beside the original ???
Kinda like dual purpose :)
I have every thing needed, excepting for the tig thing (time, material )

If that would work i would be happy to do it. How much would ya charge for something like that?
