if i were to ever get one of these(depends on availibility to me) what would the most serious problems be? what should i look for?
so far i have heard
tri z: bad impeller, likes to overheat, and sits like a chopper...
250r: nothin really...

all I can say is the liquid cooled 250r is the best trike ever made,i've owned 3 and that is my personal opinion. I have owned my tri-z for about 6 years and I had it rebuilt top/bottom andwater pump and never had a problem with anything. have fun.

actually the red/white z is the same trike as the black/red z. when I bought it from the original owner for a cool $700 the original plastic was in such good shape I didnt want to ride with it , so I got all 85 plastic for a different look.btw the warrior is the old ladys bike,I dont ride quads anymore, too expensive,i'd rather have several bada** trikes.

Here's a pic of my Z, i've had no trouble yet with mine. I've already got a new waterpump seal and gasket when it goes bad!

I forgot to mention that since the pic i've put new turf tamers on and painted the "DG" red like Darius1502's Z.

Rear shock goes on the Z's. I don't know about overheating, never had had a problem, but I haven't ridden in very hot conditions yet. Mine doesn't sit at all like a chopper also. I'd look for an 86 as they have 6 gears, improved airbox, bigger front tubes, and prolly more.
I've never owned an R.
