I just bought a YTM 200 from a kid for $300. I had to put a choke cable on it and put new bearings in the rear axle, but otherwise seems to be not to bad. I can get it started and it seems to idle ok, but once it warms up it won't idle and stalls out. I took the carb off and cleaned it all up once all ready but it seems to still be doing it. The only other thing I can think of is he has some home made muffler on the exhaust and I am thinking that the carb was not re-jetted for the homemade peice of crap. I tried finding stock exhaust for it, but up in Canada it's tough to find parts for cheap enough. I don't want to spend too much $$$ on it as I have a 225 that I also bought from this kid for $300 that I would like to start re-building. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Hey, i got the same trike you do and had the same exact problem when i first got it. all i had to do was adjust the idle a little bit higher and now she never bogs down on me. i hear what your saying about exhausts being an insane amount of money im looking for a bunch of my parts myself and striking out. good luck
