ok, i will be looking for another carb off an 86 250r 3wheeler or 4 wheeler to go onto my air cooled 250r.

my question is this, what should i start at as far as jetting? i know that elevation and things like that are different. but i am just asking for a good starting point.

i know that i didn't include any other information as far as exhaust, because that will be changing as soon as i get the transmission done.

alls i need is a good starting point, or is stock a good starting point for this carb on my older air cooled engine

Sbjones I would just try it with the stock jets. Just do a few plug checks and adjust from your starting point. It shouldn't be too far off from the beginning, at least it will run.

Where ya at in WI? I'm from Wausau going to school in Menominee now.
