200x Engine Pop

Tried a search and it's down? Any-way here's my question:
Reassembled my engine and when kicking it over it just pops out the exhaust? I's the timing somehow off? I put the dot and scribe mark on the flywheel in the correct positions, but maybe the cam is 180* out? :confused: Any ideas?

There should be a T mark on the flywheel to line up with the notch in the plug. Your valves should be closed a TDC.

If it's an 85 or under then it's easy to set the cam 180 out....

Tried the cam 180 but didn't work. I'll check the timing again but I thought it was right on.

my original 200x would run with the timing 10 degrees advanced or so...so I'm thinking it's a few degrees retarded.

Does anyone have a pic of their stator plate? I'll move it back 180* (where it should be) but I have no clue where to adjust the plate.
