Big Red better ride?

Are there any options for getting a better ride out of my Big Red? I am thinking a softer rear shock/spring would help. Is there such a thing, or any other suggestions?

you can run a lower weight fork oil in the front for a better ride, the only rear shock availble is by works perforamance, they can make a shock to your rider weight but it cost's about 300$, you can also run radial tires for a better ride.
