Has anybody ever swapped the stock engine on an Atc 70 with a 2-stroke? Maybe something like a CR 80? If so, how involved was it?

Do the small 2-stroke engines have lay-down cylinders?

There is a member on here that put a 250r engine in an atc70, but it took a ton or rework and rewelding. Do a search for it. There was an atc70 that has a cr80 engine in it, but it was a suspension 70 and it has more room than a stock atc70. I don't know of any laydown 2 stroke engines that would just bolt right in. Alot of work, unless you have all the tools and alot of time on your hands.

Yeah, I would think that the carb/airbox would be an issue because of the lack of room. Thanks, I'll keep searching though.
