Some people like em and some don't.. they say motors tend to stall at low RPM's but once you git used to it... you will like the EXTRA Pull ..

dito, www.procycle.com will do this for 55$, Well thats a Z400 flywheel.

perfect for the dunes just not as easy to ride in slower 1st and 2nd gear trails that are tight.

i want it done. i don't do tight wood trail its really open trail. and races we are moving to oklahoma, and im going to little sahara alot.

So can someone, maybe one of you guy's who lighten flywheels explain what material is removed. From the front side, back side, outside diameter, or all those surfaces? How do you know when to stop?

Look up a few posts. looks like yamahondaman does it for 35 bux on the CNC. That's a really good price.

i have fixtures for most motors... the material that is turned off is just to the bottom of the balancing holes. "about .08" per side.. it's not alot of weight but the spinning mass is much lighter... i don't "face" them no-more because it makes them too weak on the outside near the rivets...
