What is the best way to make a throttle limiter for my 185? I want to start teaching my grandkis to ride it.

my 200x had one when i first got it . it was just a screw screwed in the backside to stop it from going to far. needless to say that was first modification i done to it lol

I guess if you could drill a hole in the back of the throttle housing and tack weld a nut on there and thread a bolt in there to limit the throttle.

I know you've thought of it, but you could adjust the throttle cable way down, too.

The nut and bolt would be alot quicker to 'undo' when paw paw wants to ride.

When my grandfather taught me how to ride his mid 80's fourwheeler's he cut a wood block that he would put inside the throttle housing that limited how far you could push it!
