View Full Version : how do you remove rear axle bearing off a tri-z?

replacing rear bearing and hit a snag, there no where to hit the bearing out. there is a little nick but it is not big enough to slam it out. a quick response would be killer...

I replaced mine not long ago, and as far as I can remember it was'nt that difficult just to hit on the bearings with a long metal rod, as longs as your bearings are intact and are'nt missing the inner part of the bearing......
You could also heat the hub a littlebit to make it pop out more easy

thanks for the reply I already got them out and new ones in, the center thing in the carrier was locked in place so I just hit a couple of time with the hammer and breaks loose.
