As I have seen on several of the brochures on the ATC brochure site. The 1985 ATC200S has a brake lever on both the left and right side of the handlebars. What does this left brake lever do? Is it the park brake? Do all models get it or only the USA models?(Mine was made in Japan). I have noticed lots of trikes with only a right brake lever. Thanks in advance.

The left lever is for the rear brakes, it hooks in to the brake arm above where the peddle hooks in. There is also a little flip clip that holds the lever in to act as the parking brake.

Ok thanks for that. How come so many bikes have them removed? I Could probably hook one up when I finally get around to installing new brake pads.

Most of em are removed after they seize up or need replacing, and the owner doesn't wanna spend $15 on a cable, so they just remove the perch and lever. On my trikes I actually just prefer the foot brake anyway.
