Went riding yesterday and when i started rippin down the trail i felt the clutch slipping. So i adjusted the cable and the other adjust spot on the motor still no luck. It got worse soon the bike just stopped would not move. what does this sound like to you .I think it is the clutch plates. But their was not much warning of it going out it rode strong last time out. Does this sound normel to you the clutch going from riding slipping to not able to move the bike with no rider on it.And when bike is off and in gear you can push the bike almost like it is in neutral.:TrikesOwn

I don't know anything about a clutch on a early model 250r, why don't you search it in the search box. My father thinks you burnt the clutch out being that the bike is 24 years old and has the original clutch in it.

Are you leaving enough free play on the clutch lever? If not this could be a symptom but chances are you'll need to replace your clutch plates if it's gotten this bad.

yes, but still, sometimes not everyone knows the answers, patience is key =], double posting like that just turns away most of our 3ww veterans (in the sense of experience not age ;) )
