Bought a 70 today!! [Archive]

I have been bitten by the 70 bug. I bought a 1985 70. Overall its in decent shape except for the seat. I also need a carb. Is there a new aftermarket carb avaliable, or should I buy a used honda and rebuild it. I would like to get it going pretty soon. The kids (and me) really want to ride it. Any advice would be great.:w00t:

I think every 70 in the country is gonna get bought up by 3WW members, it's definitely the latest thing!! but lots more fun than Hollisters, sunglasses or UGGS :lol:

:pics: Heres some pics, not perfect, I just want a good runner. I got a tray of parts to go with it. But still not complete. I need a carb, shifter, kill switch and ect. Does anyone have any experience with the chinese carbs on ebay that says should fit. If anyone has any of these parts let me know. I will post it in the classifieds as well.

do you have any of the oem carb at all? The carb on mine was JUNK and I finally got the "save a carb" kit from Beatrice cycle AKA DR ATV. for under 40.00 it worked perfectly.

Yes I have the main carb body and the bowl. The plastic choke lever is broke.
