I have been looking for a 225 DX/DR for a while and it seems that they are very hard to find in nice condition. I found this bike in Colorado and it really is a bike that was left in a barn (I know you've heard that before!!) for the last 20 years. I bought it off of the original owner who let his family ride it a few times and then they lost intrest in the ATC because of the 4 wheelers they purchased a little later. The owner pulled it out of the barn, washed it, replaced 3 original dry rotted tires and replaced the handlebars because there was some slight surface rust on them. (wish I could have got them!!!) I couldnt be happier when I opened the container and rolled this one out!! Let me know what you think.

Yes I got it cheap, he just wanted to clean out his barn and that was the first thing to go, and yes, I did ask him if he had any more machines that he was going to sell!! :D :D

It's beautiful! That ain't no battle trike, that's for sure. Get pictures of _everything_! It could really help someone down the road if they try to restore one to see what it's supposed to look like.
