That is a sweet R but now is not the time to sell. If you can, I would hang on to it when the economy gets a little straighter.

othereise right now in this day, you may be lucky to get like $1100 for it due to bad economy.

around here 1200-1500. theres a guy up my road with an 85 350x thats a second owner and he wants 3000 for it. dont get me wrong its very nice and i would love to load that thing up, but 3000 is just ridiculous.

Yup, I would have to say $1200 - $1500. I know it seems like it should be worth more, but it IS a bad time to be selling ANYTHING.

I've been looking for one in that condition here in so cal. I'd have to give at least
$1500 for one in just "decent" condition.

In the upper midwest I'd say $1500-$1600 safely.

yeah, its a very bad time to sell, but a great time to buy.
i see ads on craigslist posted 3-4 times, each with a substantial price drop over the last posting. i mean, look at the bike i just bought......800 bucks, and it needed barely front pads and fork seals........now, its in perfect order, and i have 870 invested.......

so if you NEED money, then sell, but if your just trying to make room, or make a buck, hold on to it.

not everybody is poor. There are still R's going on ebay for thousands. That bike looks in great shape. If your broke you shouldnt be looking to buy a wheeler anyhow. If somebody got that for 1500 you'd be getting a deal. I suppose different areas they run different prices. Around me people would ask 2 grand for that

there is 1 saying that holds 100% true.
no matter what ANYONE says, it's only worth what someone is willing to actually hand over money for. Are you willing to part with it? if so take your chances, if not, hten keep it and enjoy it.

I agree with ATCeeya. Their's been a couple in my area that are going for 2800.00 or best offer. In my opinion i would sell it for 2500.00 or best offer, but would not take less than 2000.00 for it. Your's is in much better shape than the one's around me. Good luck selling it.

Location is a factor,economy,parts avaliability,condition,resale value.

I would say $2,000 or best offer would be a good starting point for your R.

Tighten the chain up a little.
