price for 85 250sx

found one for $900. if it's in good shape(still has original tires), is this a reasonable deal?

yes,,,, if it is good shape.
in my way of thinking, they hold their resale just as well as any of the honda's and from what i see on ebay and my own personel experiance w/ a 85 sx they are a very desirable machine.
kinda feel your seller out as far as did he have it in the water alot. if he say's yes you might want to check the rear end over a little closer like if the gear oil has been changed regular + listen for ant clunk sounds when turning tight at slow speed (not a real good sign).

thats not a bad deal, but where I live you can find one from anywhere between $500 to $1000. Most of them are in good shape.

Depends on location,really. Sx's are one of the best all around machines. I owned a 85,and loved it. Ended up selling it for another toy,go firgure. :rolleyes:

900.00 for a good running 250sx is not a bad deal i have 4 of them sold one for 1200.00 bought it back 4 days later for 400.00 but the guy got to ride on a heli. spent 4 days in hos.
