I have decided too build a true all out drag machine. and I'm pondering what the best set-up would be.:wondering

85-86 250r chasis 310 kit carb etc.. will depend on what class it will fall in alky or pump gas

tecate 85 base with lots of work the parts are harder too find (downfall)

or yamaha banshee trike with a 440 kit.

Don't get me wrong I love my 500 but want too have more part options

Liquid R for sure. Best designed 2 stroke engine of all time, and the ability to go BIG! Nasty stroke and bore combos, and many people that know how to pull power out of the many combos availiable. But..stock stroke with big 76mm bore, gives big power and fast rpm climb. Great chassis with big PWR rads mean cool running too. Ice it out with a nice outframe and your on your way! Think Andrea and Cory from TF 07. Awesome. A big 40.5 pwk set up for high test leaded fuel. Alcohol........I have mixed feelings. Just my .02

Build a drag ported methanol ATC330r with a big swinger, pro wedges, drag pipe, smooth front tire, lockout clutch, cut tranny and the whole nine yards. Although a banshee sounds like an equaly good dragbike only it's better winning on three:D

I agree, there are lots of different options for the liquid cooled Rs. Keep it Red.

go with the gsxr600 if you go the streetbike route. 145hp and the engine weighs considerably less than a busa.
