What's up guys? I've been a member here for a while but I haven't owned a three wheeler for years aside from my ATC70s. I just bought a somewhat unmolested 83 ATC200X a few weeks ago and I'm kinda laying out my plans for what I want to do with it over the winter.

It's nice, but I wouldn't say it is nice enough to restore to original condition, plus I plan on riding this thing. It's not gonna be a conversation piece in the garage. It's gonna see a workout on a weekly basis. It's pretty much all stock aside from tires, handlebars, and a twist throttle. I just added an IMS folding shifter, a block off plate, and a CR style clutch lever.

My plans for it are a plastic tank, (the stock one is all dented up) white plastic, (stockers are toast) new factory style decals, Renthals w/ some kind of handguards, and a PRM swingarm skid. I may look into getting a swinger off an 84 or 85 instead of the funky tubular style unit I have now. I plan on powder coating everything red aside from the pegs, engine skid, and swinger. I think I'll go with a silvervein/ hammertone on those because it hides scratches well.

I'm looking to upgrade the brakes too and here is where my questions come in.. I want to run steel braided lines and I'm looking at these ancient master cylinder reservoirs. Has anyone ever tried running a master cylinder off an MX bike on their front brake or would it not hold the volume of fluid needed for the caliper? I can see why you need a larger reservoir on a quad being that you're feeding two calipers but on a three wheeler it seems like overkill. I'd love to get rid of that big, bulky master cylinder and get rid if that foot-long front brake lever if possible.
