I just got back from a trip to the dunes(pics soon). Most likely the only other person with a trike came up and started talking trikes, which was way cool. :beer
He asked if I know how to make my trike longer with no money and no cutting I said no and please tell me. Well he says if I move my front forks to each other side and turn them around it will put the axle in front on the bike not behind and will give me 3" more of wheel base. He also said it would ride diffrent I would feel "more of the ground" has anyone done this???? pics would be cool if you have and how does it handle?

Back when I didn't know crap  I assembled my 85 250R with the fork leading axle or forwards, I put them together the way it looked like they should be. Heck, I didn't even have a manual :D It turned like CRAP! but it had better straight line high speed stability...

Thats pretty much the general rule with wheelbase - shorter turns better but sacrifices high speed stability and longer is just the opposite.....

Well I have two stock swing arms and one being extended 4" right now by a friend so turning I don't really care to much about. The bike will mostly be used for the sand ridding and tree shots. I have a 350 warrior for trail ridding. So if it handles ok in the flats thats all I want.
