i found on EBAY "EAST COAST ATV" that sell bearing, sleeves, seals and caps for the ATC 250R swingarm...someone can tell me more about this kit...is it good or not?

And someone know a guy that make a similar kit for the cushion arm (Shock linkage)...because a lot of parts for cushion arm are discontinued from HONDA?

thanks

Got mine there. Nice kit, solid and went in no problem (got it installed at the local honda because I could not get the old bearings out) and got it in my hands within 5 days, well packed too. I got no problems buying from them. I phoned them direct and put it on my credit card.

There's members on here that can help you I believe. X.system or Yamahondaman makes those bushings (if memory serves me correctly) and you can get any all balls bearing kits from Dads.

I've used those swinger kits on all the bikes I've owned. They work good and save you alot of money over replacing them with OEM parts.

The dust caps for the shock linkage are still available OEM.

X system has the dogbone linkage sleeves and Swingarm bushings too,all nylon and the nylon swinger bushings last longer than the steel needle bearings and easier to remove and install.

On the HONDA parts graphic for the cushion arm...there are 3 parts number for dust cap....and one are unaivailable from HONDA.

and for the bushing for the cushion arm there are 4 different model...2 availaible from HONDA, one availaible from x.system and the other one, someone made it???

thanks

We just bought all the dust caps for the H fork 2 months ago from Honda.
X system makes the 2 Sleeves for the H fork, where it attaches to the shock.

Do a Search, there was something about being able to make the 86 TRX Shock linkage stuff work on the 85,but I dont remember the details.

someone know if the cushion arm (Shock linkage) bushing and dust caps of the TRX250R and the ATC250R 1985 interchange?

Up to the 89 TRX I think it is (but maybe someone here who is 100% sure can chime in)...the 85 and 86 ATC shares lots of common parts with the TRX's until then, even the motors are interchangeable.

Dammit!

The bushing for the lower shock mount/pivot or whatever you want to call it is not interchangable and not available. x.system had a group order of some custom repros done a while back but I assume they're all long gone. Everything else from the TRX kit swaps.

I know you can use the TRX linkage all together but what I'm not sure about is that bottom bolt. I assume you need the TRX bolt but I don't know if it works with the ATC shock for 100% certain. Anybody? Bueller?
