It wouldn't be hard to get it street legal would it? You should just need headlight, taillight, brake light. Street rated tires. Then get a cop to inspect it. I am sure I missed a few things but isn't that pretty much how it is done?

Depends on the state. There's threads here on 3WW about this. Even if you manage to convince DOT to issue plates, it's likely the cops would pull you over at every turn anyway. Not that I wouldn't ride it to work once or twice just for the thrill of it! But 3K? Also, not to rain on anyone's parade, but most trikes ARE unsuitable for pavement, because of the solid axle! Ever try to turn sharply on pavement? My KLT200 had an actual differential, which made it handle pretty good on roads, but beyond that....

I'm thinking about checking it out. Looks like a nice ride regardless of using it on the streets or not. I think its a 450 motor, and the USD forks, so...
I have e-mailed him for specs..

When I do my conversion it's going to start with a dual-sport bike that already has the requisite lights, title and license plate. Then once the conversion is done, the plate is already issued so no inspection is necessary. The only thing I'm wondering is what front tire to use that would handle OK and still be street legal. Anybody know what the front tire is on this bike?
So the story here is that this guy used a street/dirt bike and did a 3 wheeler conversion with it after the street/dirt bike was legalized for road use? SMART!!!!

We were talking about it on stlmustangs.com. It's local to me. I'm being told to but it and ride it to our next meet. ha ha. I would like to have it. Looks awesome. I wouldn't license it though.
