This one has been offered to me for $200. It doesn't run but it turns over. Should I even fool with it? It's an 85 200x but I'm sure you all knew that already.

Hell yes! Parting it out alone is worth more than that. She looks in great shape and looks to be all there minus a seat cover. I would buy it, get it home, change the fluids, spark plug, clean the carb and see if she fires. Bet she will! Looks like a promising resto.

I just had an 84 given to me that is complete, runs and looks way better than that. (no offense) I guess it depends on your plans for it. Since I allready have two now and not at all looking for another, The seller would be lucky if I did'nt make him pay me to take it. Just my .02.

If I do buy it I'm not parting it out. I'll fix it up and ride it. It seems to me the price is right but I know others have found better. The 85's are much more common then the 86's I know but I was thinking it was still worth that much.

Anyone need a complete rear axle and swinger for an 86 200x? I'll sell it for $200 plus shipping lol...

There is a really clean 85 200x up here for sale and the guy is asking $1500. For $200 I would be all over it. I wish I could find great deals like that.

yea i dont need a forth either but a deal is a deal its like you buy it or kick yourself later wondering why you didnt get that when you had the chance i mean you can definatly just part it out and make cash . If i didnt buy turds i wouldnt have any bikes they all work great after you give them a lil bit of love
and wallet my friend gave me 3 200e's made one good one they all looked terrible but now i have a nice looking one for the most part that only cost me like 35$ for an air box on ebay and brake pads and stuff.

Even though you might be right, statements like that push me more towards buying it and getting it running
