Good evening guys... just got a '85 BR running... runs awesome, low hours, but when in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear, when I kick it down, the engine revs, but the bike really isn't moving any faster. I have adjused the bolt and screw on the side of the engine. Loosen the bolt, turn the screw to "decrease play" until I can just start to feel pressure, then back it off 1/4 turn. Bike shifts like a dream... I think it needs a new clutch pack? Are these hard to do for a good do it yourselfer? I might just hire this one done... how much labor should a decent bike shop charge for just a clutch pack? Is there other things they should do while they are in there? (bearings, clutch springs?)
