Well I got the bike up and running great now.. Bored it .50 over and New wiring did the trick.

I bought the clutch parts including the cable plunger and spring but doesn't run right with it installed.. The bike will only run wil the choke open but it runs at wide open throttle and stays that way no matter what you adjust. When its closed the bike stalls even when warm.. I Remove all the choke items including the plunger and it runs with no issues at all.. I have the mixture screw set at 2 turns out.

And info to get this worked out would be great.. After spending $60 on the choke parts its a little waste if I cant use them.

Thanks
Chris

Ok, do you have an airfilter or airbox on it? With no airfilter or airbox, 2 strokes have a tendency to run like that. My yt125 did that until I reinstalled the airbox and factory filter, then I could tune the carb just fine.

Not sure I follow...is it running full bore right after you start it without hitting the throttle?

yes it runs full throttle as soon as you start it without touching the throttle. ]

I am not using the air box .I am just using a k&n filter on the carb.

Where did you get your .50 over piston? Yamaha only offers .25 and I need one that is .50 over
