It should work, I dont think there was a difference between the S and M carbs, the motors are the same except for the M having electric start. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Should be the same. What kind of choke did the "M" have?

I double checked the "ATC specs" and I found a couple slight differences.
Also, not trying to sound dumb or anything but my 200M just has a choke up near the handle bars... (sorry if thats not what you mean):wondering

I got the carb today and went through every part to see where they all go.
I only have 1 problem... I can't figure out where the larger of the 2 small gaskets go. The small one (green line in pic) goes with the pilot screw, but I can't figure out where the larger one (red arrow) goes?

looks liek the biggest dif is the jet size and screw turn. if you don't have a 200s carb, the 200m will work, you may jsut have to spoend $2.50 and get the correct jet. OH SNAP!!!

the gasket sets are universal, some carbs had a different sized o-ring. i had the same issue with my 185s carb i re-did. If I were you, I'd jsut hold on to it incase you need it, but i don't think you will. Also, if your needle and seat are in good shape, keep them, changing the needle and seat was a pitta as mine were stuck due to fuel varnishing. so, sometihng to think about.

Any other ideas where it could/should be?

how bout the tube where the main jet screws in?

That was the only place I could think of, in between the "main Jet" and the "Needle Jet Holder". But it doesn't look like there is something in between the 2?

well, since you found the proper term... at the bottom of the needle jet holder?

I am pretty sure (unless someone is positive that it is) that it isn't used anywhere on the needle jet holder, because it doesn't seem to fit right, and there wasn't one there in the first place.
Still, any other idease are helpful...

carb kits are to some extent generic... ive always had left over parts... misc screw or gasket is normal...

Got it working PERFECT!!!:D :Bounce
And I didn't even need to adjust it any further than the stock 2 and 1/4 turn out on the pilot screw.
P.S. Will anything get messed up (the valves, etc.) if I have it straight piped?
