Hi All,

Finally got my trike running great, only one problem has developed.

Problem: Riding around it developed a bottoming out sound which I think is the chain slapping against its enclosed chain gaurd. Is there any way of tightening this up real quick, not sure why the sound just started.

Thanks!

There should be a rubber plug in that chain guard that you can remove to inspect the chain, take it off and see how loose the chain is... i belive you should be able to push the chain up by about an inch or so. (Maybe someone else can chime in here) but if it is loose there are 4 bolts on the bearing carrier that you would loosen a little bit and on the left hand side of the carrier near the bottom you should see a threaded rod with 2 nuts on it. Thats what you use to adjust the tension. Its pretty straightforward when you look at it on the bike. Hope that helps some...
