if you really wanted to but personally I wouldnt bother unless my thumb throttle was hammered and i could get a cheap twist throttle.

are you going to buy one new or just rip one off an old 2 wheeler lying around or by one second hand?

If you really want one on there go for it. I used to hate them on anything except dirtbikes, but when I bought my 250R it came with one on it, and now I kinda like it. Would I go out of my way to put one on another machine? No. But a lot of it is personal preference anyway.

I personally run twist on all my greenies. They actually came like that from the factory, and I love it. My old 200X had it, too.

The only problem ive had is when the front end comes up and your not holding on very well and you grab and the bars and rev it up higher and crash into trees..

What the hell is a "broadie"?

Once you get used to it it's just like anything else. You don't even think about it.

I do not think you will be able to use the cable from a twist set-up on a thumb throttle, im pretty sure the metal cable itself is longer, in other words the outer plastic sleeve wont be long enough, there will be too much of the metal cable hanging out.
