250r carb question

I just got a new carb for my 85 250r. It came off of an 87 trx 250r, i was woundering how it would work if i put the stock jets from the 87 back in the 87 carb and ran it on my stock 85?

if that particular jet works for your bike on that day then no problem. i go from 162 up to 175 depending on weather and altitude.
