ATC250R difference between FMF powercore and FMF turbine core silencer

someone know the difference between FMF powercore and FMF turbinecore silencer for the ATC 250R 1985

Turbinecore has a spark arrestor.

what's a spark arrestor? what's the utility of this...more power, sound different...

Spark arrestors prevent flames/sparks from leaving the exhaust system. A stock silencer has one. Most aftermarket silencers don't. They are required in some riding areas. Might be slightly quieter than the powercore. Probably no appreciable difference in power.
