Removing the carb on a 250ES

I ordered a rebuild kit for my big Red 250Es. I was looking at the carb today. What all is involved in getting the carb off. How do you get the throttle cable un hooked. And does the choke cable just unscrew. I have rebuilt 100's different carbs from chainsaws to autos and have never seen a carb like this one. I have a 225 Yamaha that I have taken apart several times but this carb looks nothing like the 225's carb. I guess it is probably like all carbs once you get inside of it. Any tips will be helpful as I do not have a manual for this trike..

The choke cable unscrews. The throttle cable you must remove the black piece on the side of the carb.. Once the plastic piece is removed unhook the cable and unscrew it from the top of the carb.
