finally took some dasys off work to get some stuff done at home. i paid $100.00 for the heap of tri moto's. another $35.00 for front wheel bearing, seals, and an air filter. about 3 hrs of work and i got to ride it today. round trip was prolly about 7 or 8 miles. runs real well and chugged along like a little trooper.

Congrats. Now starts the fun part of tricking it out. I don't know if they are getting the suspension kits yet or not.

Hard to believe the longevity of those old strokers. Have fun with it. The 110 is in AWESOME shape!
The 125,or is it a 175...Tri moto alot faster than the 125?

thanks taiser.. the 85 110 belongs to my daughter. my wife has an 84 that looks just like that one, only missing the trunk lid.
edog, it is the 125 with the 175 front end. we took a nice trail ride this morning and a few long straights, wasnt able to get the moto going fast enough to get out of 4th gear. yes, it is much faster than the 110.

do you still use the injector? or use premix
im still needing to finish mine ,and haven't decided on blocking it off,or using it
i need new tires,a choke cable, and the cyl bored for the new piston
im curious if it will be funner than my 200x

im mixing my gas at 40/1. seems to be working well. it is a fun little bike to play on. in some ways i would say funner than the x but with no rear suspension i dont think its the kind of bike i want to ride on for 4 or 5 hrs.

Those injectors were known for causing problems and a general PITA. Everyone I knew that had one of these went to pre-mix with no problems...and a lot less worries too!!! :)

yeah both of the motos i got have it plugged off. i have actually never seen a bad oil injector pump but these were already not being used so i figure why bother to bleed it out when everything is already capped off.
