350x engine question

Can the studs for the cylinder and head be removed from the center cases? I need to soak the cases and I can't find a pan big enough for them with the studs in them. How do they come out?

Yes, there just tight. Double nuts way up high allow the studs to flex too much for removal sometimes. It's a crappy way to do it, but using good vice grips down by the base seems to work the best.

Thanks, I got them out. It took a small pipe wrench. They were very tight.
