Hey,

Ive got an 84 250r that I need to change the conencting rod bearings in..
The piston exploded on the back side and is missing half of the rear side of the piston.... th pieces are down in the motor and IN the bearings of the connecting rod...

I found a complete crank for an 82 250r... are they the same? (everything I mean)

Either way Ive gotta split the cases to change the connecting rod and c-rod bearings right?

I've never split the case on a 3 wheeler but according to the service manual it seems easy...

When the cases are split does everything stay in the left side (drivers side) case and not "fall out all over"? It semes like it stays...

From what Im reading you just take out the clutch lever, flywheel, and the bolts to the case and then split them... is this correct?

Is there anything I should know or look for after the cases are split?
