will an 86 350x motor fit and work right on an 85 350x need to know thanks and is there supposed to be some sort of bearing cup that goes on the ends of the swing arm bearings ?

You should swap the cable mounting/clutch arm to match the frame of your bike. IE, if you put a 85 motot in a 86 frame, the cable routing for the clutch won't work unless you swap out the side covers. Got it??

hmm that shouldnt be a problem i have my 85 motor and that side is good so they just fit and work fine having the 85 side plate on an 86 then

yup....or just get a 86 clutch cable

i convert 85's to 86 style all the time....i like it better
