ive picked up an 85 225 for free,got it running but she smokes like an s.o.b.,(my neighbor thought my garage was on fire). i think it just bad valve seals,seems to run too strong to be spent rings(need to get differant comp. tester to check compression). my question is...can the valve seals be replaced without pulling the engine

too funny...one of my buddies wants it,i told to run synthetic oil so it wont smoke
