I am assembling an auto-x for my son and I need a brake pedal built. I attempted to do one with a buddies welder, and it looked horrible, and didn't fit right. Can anyone on here help me out? I will pay for the service of course. This is one of the last things holding me up.

if you use a 350x pedal (on the lower foot peg post)and some of the 200x brake linkage (on the top foot peg post) it comes out nice with little welding.

From what I've read, a 200S brake pedal will work on the lower peg mount with a little grinding. Then you just need a little piece of linkage to finish it off. No welding needed.

Here is my auto-X brake pedal setup. I went to Napa and bought 2 1/4" ball joint setups with a piece of all thread. that is a 350X brake pedal on the lower peg mount. You have to space the footpeg out with a couple of washers behind each bolt for it to clear the lower ball joint.

2 ball joints p/n 2-686 $8.29 each
All thread p/n 813-1411 $2.99

$21.23 total after tax

I forgot to mention.... No welding :D I am installing a bushing between the frame and pedal to take out the slop.
