Hey guys,
I have a 1980 atc185 and just got a 84' 200es parts trike for free.
The parts trike has alot missing, not engine wise, but everything else.
what im doing is taking the 200es topend and switching it onto the 185.
My main question is will the jug fit, im pretty sure it will, but does anyone know for sure?
I'm also going to hone, re-ring, measure/replace parts in need, new gaskets and jet the carb.
Also when school starts I will have access to the milling machine so ill be considering milling my cylinder head to bumb up compression a little since the stock 200 is a little lower than stock 185 compression ratio. And i will try porting the intake and exaust since i will have a spare head if i F-up
My exaust system is also rusted apart so most likely I will be welding a sraight pipe on to the muffler flange, eliminating the muffler. Obviously I know it will be loud as hell but i dont mind, this trike is my weekend fishing machine and time waster/ tinkerer
