So I stop by the swap meet and there sitting in the back of a trailer is a 110 three wheeler. no seat, (actually I think its got a atc 70 or Z50 seat sitting on it). guy says he put a new set of rings but is having spark issues. He let me have it for 60 bucks. It needs a seat, on/off switch, air cleaner, and chain guard which I have. Also it got a header and what looks like a supertrapp exh. I pulled the kord and got spark with a new plug, so its off to clean the carb, put in a fuel line, check the cam to see if its correctly then see if it runs! And I was thinking of swearing off trikes for awhile. jim

I'll get some up later this weekend. And to think I have a brand new 22 11 8 tire I didnt use and was about to sell it cheap. Same with the air filter, chain guard, The on off switch is off a old ytm 200 I sold. Ive got a spare 200X carb and cable I may try to swap for a couple of 110 parts if this thing runs. jim

Its funny how that happens. I was just driving down the road the other day and one jumped into the back of my pickup. If the kids can bring dogs home, I can bring three wheelers home. Yesterday my wife said "Did you get another three wheeler?". I had to tell her. I didn't tell her I got two.

Haha i wasn't going to say a word but i told Alison about the 350X i just got. It wasn't too big of a deal and its paid for out of my 'toy' money so it doesn't really matter a whole lot anyway.
It's only a problem if the kids are going hungry or you can't pay the bills, TC...

I think it's an addiction to not pass up good deals on big boy toys

well, I think it at least needs the valves lapped. I pulled the plug squirted some carb cleaner in it, pulled the cord and theres no compression. And the fluid just blew out of the carb. Spark looked weak. Im sure it needs a set of points too. So the question is... do I tear the motor down, lap the valves, throw a set of rings in it. rebuild the carb. And hope the bottom end is good? My goal is if it looks like it can be done for under 200 bucks I'll probably just go for it. If not, im going to call a friend and see what he'll charge me for a 90 or 110 motor and keep this thing as a spare.
Notice just selling it for parts wasnt even brought up? Jim

I looked at the O on the cam gear, matched to the notch on the top of the hole. the T is pointed to the coil pack pointing torwards the cylinder (79 motor, no timing hole).
Last option is to just sell it complete. jim

I have a 73 ATC90 motor but I don't know if it runs or not. It still turns over. No carb or starter. I'd sell it for $25.00 but shipping would be a killer.

I use my "Mad money" to buy my toys too. I clean up around the store every six months or so and they let me keep all the money from the scrap metal and other stuff that they throw away.
