I have an 85 250r i'm rebuilding and what I need to know is
how much oil goes in the rear skock, the manual does not tell you any thing about the rear shock, got the front done, no problum, can anyone here help me with this please.

Um...I'm pretty sure the rear shock is not user serviceable. Someone please confirm/deny this because I may be way off base. As far as I know, the rear unit is sealed and then nitrogen charged. You should look or ask around for a reputable suspension service to take care of that for you.

Yes, you have to take it to a suspension shop. They have to be charged w/nitrogen.

they can be done yourself, minus the nitro part.

basically what the manual says is to fill the damper, resivoir, and hose with atf and make sure there isnt any air in the system and youre set

Shops charge 15 bucks to charge shocks.

Seal heads are around 30 bucks. talk to sblt500r here on the boards, he rebuils shocks
