Anyone else have a Suzuki ALT?

I love the suzuki ALTs. I had a ALT 185 but the vavle popped off and ruined the piston. These arent too popular.

I also have one of each (thanks to Brapp for the 50) - all are also pretty rough - although I have ridden all of them - cosmetically they are not too nice. Good fenders though. They need restored.

Here is my Alt50 Trail Buddy with a Mounted Canadian Triker posing with it

I gave away an ALT125 basket case last month to a friend of mine. I hope he can fix it up.

Can one of you fine fellows help a brutha out? I'm the one whom Firehart gave the li'l ALT125 to, but I'm having trouble locating a diagram with the routing of fuel lines. I can get the bike to run when I gravity-feed fuel into the carb, but I am missing the proper locations of fuel line from the pump to the carb.

I've got the lines on the tank figured out, and the vacuum line from the intake manifold to the pump. Thanks

I have a 1985 ALT 125 out in the pole barn. I've had it for almost 20 years, and am trying to get a lead on the parts and manual to restore it. Once I'm not completely ashamed of it, I'll have to upload some pics.

Start a restore thread on your ALT, no reason to be ashamed.

I have a manual.

Here's a '82 RM 125 we converted. One of our machinists owned it. Who knows what happened to it. It was probably our only Suzuki though.

Never be ashamed of a project trike, there supposed to be ugly. That's why they are projects! You should of seen my first pic on here! I got a couple of "Why"s, and a "Does that even run!" It didn't run and looked like a turd! Now it still kinda looks like a turd and runs like a graped ape! But a decent turd!

I need to get it into the garage and out of the pole barn. With the snow going on outside, it's hard to want to go all the way out there to work in the cold.

Once you see progress, sometime ambition follows! But then ambition leads to progress!

I'm anxious about it. There is plenty of snow that wants to see an ATV driving over it. :)

And for the record, your signature is spot-on.

Yeah, took me a while to figure that out. This why I watch my communication moral in here! This site is very resourceful!

Mine was one of two Suzuki bikes in the whole neighborhood when I lived in NY. Everyone else had Honda something or Yamaha Banshee.
