startin to put together my yt. got a few ?'s
1. will the stock exhaust from the 175 work on the 125?
2. on the fuel tank cover there are 2 lower mounting holes. well, what appear to be mounting holes. is there some sort of bracket that they mount to? both of mine have nothing in this area. im thinking i may be missing something.
3. oil tank is off and all lines are plugged. is 32/1 gas/oil mix a good place to start?

trimotoman, thanks for those pics. i think i found the missing brkt in a box of xtra parts that came with it.
saladboy, looks to be in real nice condition. wish mine looked like that. i got a couple pics of mine in edogs trimoto thread.
mine is an 82 125 with an 83 175 front end. quite the pile i got it for $100.00. but it looks like i'll be able to get 1 running bike. i'll get some pics of it after i get the plastic cleaned.

Finally got the yt175 over to my house and took a couple of pics. Not much to look at right now, but it was a deal when I got it. I've put on a bunch of new parts and have lots more to install besides the pro-tec kit I have. I will add some more bits and take some more pics. I'll probably tear it back apart soon to paint of pc the frame. I just managed to pick up something else and not sure what I'm going to do, but maybe an engine transplant shortly!!! I hope to have some more time to do some work on it this coming week. I might edog the frame for the temporary just to have it look a little better. I've got to finish recovering the seat for it too. Anyone have a really nice or nos set of rear fenders or fuel tank cover????

wanted to say that the pipe of an 83 175 is not a direct bolt on to the 82 125. the 125 pipe has an attached flange and the 175 is a seperate flange. thats not the problem though, the rear mount on the 125 pipe and the 175 pipe are different. i think this will be an easy fix but just wanted to note that a brkt will have to be made. other than that it will fit and also want to note that the front brkt will bolt up. only the rear will be a problem. when i get this fixed i will take a pic to show what i mean.

since im here, i got my tri-pile running, like crap but running, takes 1/4 throttle well but anything else and she is a dog. been through the carb quickly, dont think its there, possibly a problem with the choke plunger. not sure yet.
