It's probably an XR200 cam which bolts on an ATC 200X and does give an improvement over stock. Nothing like what a Powroll or Webcamshaft would give you though......

Can you not put a 200x cam into a 200s for an improvement? If thats the case would the xr200 cam give even more improvement or would it just be overkill...

I'm using one in my AutoX. Runs great. Very good power. I also installed the 10.25-1 piston and the adjustable timing gear set 2 degrees advanced. It will pull like no tomorrow.

I also have bought one and noticed a big improvement over stock. Lot more torqe in low to mid and great over rev.

I bought one on ebay but I think it was a different seller, probably the same thing. Package said made in Japan.

I'm just assembling the engine that its going in. I could measure it for you if you like and compare it to the stock or XR cam. I think I checked once and it actually had a bit more lift than the XRs

tbirdscott, that would be great. i think i asked them once and they said .340 lift but i got no specs for duration. i think im gonna try it anyway. cant really beat the price.

attached is the cam specs for various cams for the 200X, including the "ebay cam". i was told that the "ebay cam" is higher performance then a XR200 cam. but i am not sure if its true or not.

When you finish the cam swap let me know how it works. The wifes auto x could use a little more down low in my opinion.

Finally found my calipers. My cam measures the same lift as the ebay cam posted in the pdf. Dont have the tools to measure duration, likely the same. Got mine for $35 in someones ebay store.

I have one here somewhere Eric. The locating hole was drilled in the wrong place,I paid $15 I think. I sure will never mess with it.
