Decal question

I bought a new sticker kit from Ebay for my 250sx. I have a brand new plastic gas tank for it. The 2 HONDA stickers on the tank looked great until they filled with air bubbles a few weeks later. Now they look horraible. What can I do? I want to buy new ones,but what if the same thing happens again? Anyone know why this happened?

I have heard by putting a few small slices in the decals with a razor blade will let the gas vapors through without the decal coming off. Not sure how well it works but yeah,, plastic tanks breathe and those decals will come off eventually.
